International Congress of Oral Implantologists
About the ICOI
Founded in 1972, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) is an association of general dentists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, endodontists, orthodontists, laboratory technicians, auxiliaries, industry representatives, researchers, faculty members, pre and post doctoral graduate dental students as well as the general public.
One of the main goals is to provide implant education to the entire dental team to better serve its patients and the advance of science and quality of the practice of implant dentistry.
The Implant Prosthodontic Section of the ICOI offers practitioners and laboratory technicians an ideal environment for implant restorative education. All members of the Internatinal Congress are included.
ICOI’s network extends to 65 worldwide affiliate societies to provide, to assist and incourage regional education to well over 25,000 active and connected members. In Costa Rica, this organization is represented by the Costa Rica Implant Program.
